In the same painting menu, switch to the third icon to access the water painting options.
You have three options for painting water:
• Option 1: Fill Negative Elevation Areas
Check the Preserve Height box, select your preferred Place Mode, adjust the Water Elevation level, and pick a water texture. Then, paint water into areas with negative elevation.
• Option 2: Adjust Water and Elevation Together
Uncheck Preserve Height to paint water while adjusting the terrain elevation at the same time. Set both the water texture and the elevation level you want.
• Option 3: Auto-Fill with Water
Click Fill Map with Water to automatically fill all empty tiles with negative elevation (from -0.1 to -10) with your selected water texture. For example, in this case, the swamp texture was chosen.
